Claire Denis' contribution to anthology film À propos de Nice, la suite. Denis regular Gregoire Colin is snatched off the sidewalk by some guys he knows, given a gun and an apparently convincing speech (we don’t hear it – there’s no spoken dialogue). Colin stops at the beach to think, then heads through a parade to a restaurant, where he finds and kills his man.

Martial, seventeen year-old, has ran away to Nice, to see his mother, singer with a chaotic life. Near her house, he meets three women : an employee of the Organization managing unemployment, a former classmate, and owner of the place. Three educational and sentimental fragments. Three secrets. Three songs.

A naïve and "nice" West Indian's descent into postcolonial cynicism is depicted in a twenty minute monologue from writer Farrukh Dhondy.

Very Nice, Very Nice is a 7 minute long avant-garde film made by Arthur Lipsett in 1961. It was completed with funding from the National Film Board of Canada. While working at the National Film Board, Lipsett collected pieces of audio and pieced them together as a hobby. When his friends heard the product of this they suggested that he add images to it. This film is the result.
